Two census declarations.
Left papyrus (A) (P.Lond. III 1119(a), TM 11758): Fragmentary census declaration addressed to the strategus from a woman whose name is lost, acting with her husband as a guardian, registered in the quarter of Hermouthiakes in Arsinoe. The declarant is registering renters of property owned by her. Dated to 105.
Right papyrus (B) (SB XXII 15467, TM 27383): Portion of a second-century census declaration from Soknopaiou Nesos. The declarant, whose name is lost, registers himself and his family members.

Two papyrus sheets, with writing on one side, the back being blank, mounted on cardboard in the same glass frame.
Left papyrus (A): Broken off at the top, bottom and left; with surface damage; portions of 16 lines running along the fibres survive, lacking the beginnings; traces of another line at the bottom are visible. Left margin minimal.
Right papyrus (B): Broken off at the top, bottom and right; with surface damage; the beginnings of 24 lines along the fibres remain; left margin extant.

Script: A: Neat and regular cursive hand of small size; B: Small, somewhat irregular cursive hand.

Provenance: A: Arsinoite nome. B: Soknopaiou Nesos (Dimeh), meris of Herakleides, Arsinoite nome, Egypt. Both purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 884-1178 from the Reverend Chauncey Murch (b. 1856, d. 1907) on 8 June 1901.
