- Aurelia Dioscorous, daughter of Hermaeus alias Pathotes, writes to the keepers of the public archives of Hermopolis to register one-third of a house with courtyard and appurtnenances, which she has purchased from her brother Aurelius Theognostus alias Morus. With subscriptions of Aurelia Dioscorous written by Aurelius Pinution alias Copreas as she is illiterate, of Theognostus and of Aurelius Herminus, councillor and keeper of the archives through the scribe Aurelius Ammonius. Large Xs ('St Andrew's cross') conclude the document.

- Papyrus sheet, complete but damaged by holes and abrasion in places; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. There are 28 lines, with all margins extant. No blank space was left on the right. A sheet-join runs from top to bottom at c. 23 mm from the right edge. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Script: Thin and regular hand for the body of the document, with few ligatures; three hands for the subscriptions from line 22.
