- Petition in the form of a letter to Zenon from Haynchis, a beer-shop manager, who complains that her daughter has been deceived and abducted by Demetrius, a vine-dresser, although he already has a wife and children. Due to her old age, Haynchis needs her daughter's help for managing the shop, and asks for Zenon's help. With docket on the back including the date and sender.

On the front, there are 23 lines written along the fibres, and all margins are extant; on the back, 2 lines run along the fibres in the left-hand half, and traces of one column written across the fibres are visible. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame

Script: Professional, upright medium-sized hand, with letters mostly separated, written with a thick pen.

Provenance: Philadelpheia, meris of Herakleides, Arsinoite nome, Egypt. Purchased with a lot comprising Papyri 2652-2721 from Dr. A. N. Kondilios in July 1925. Part of a joint purchase with the University of Michigan and Columbia University.
