1.Author:Title: rgyal po ched po bzhi'i spyan 'drenIncipit: 1r.1@//__//rgyal po ched po bzhi'i spyan 'dren la //prayer
A text paying homage and making offerings to the four great kings of the title. These are described in turn, arranged on the compass points around the central mountain (ri rgyal lhun po): in the eastYul 'khor srung(Dhṛtarāṣṭra), in the south'Phags skyes po(Virūḍhaka), in the westSpyan myi bzang(Virūpākṣa), in the northGnam mtho sras(Vaiśravaṇa). In most of their attributes, these figures agree with later traditions. Additionally, all other gods from the five pure realms ofMyi che,Myi gdung,Shin tu gya noms snang,Shin tu mthongand'Og men, are summoned to make offerings.
The numbering of the pages of this text is difficult to decipher: they are numberedgcig, dva, gsum, bzhiandco nga. The order appears to be correct except that the folio numberedbzhiis out of sequence and seems to be a separate prayer; therefore it appears as Item 2 below.
