This is one of six incomplete copies of theSnang brgyadfound in the Stein collection. For a discussion of the content, see entry toIOL Tib J 463/1. Only one folio is missing from the beginning, but then there is an immediate lacuna (probably of about 15 folio sides) betweenRf.1randRf.1v(=Vf.5vandRf.6r). Most of the missing folios are found atIOL Tib J 416/3. The latter folios follow directly from the presentRf.1r, but there remains a lacuna between the end ofIOL Tib J 416/3, Vf.7r.3and ourRf.1v. To reconstruct this lacuna, one may consultIOL Tib J 458, 4v.3-8r.5(=Tib. fol. nos. 5v.3-11r.5). There is also a lacuna between the end of the recto and the beginning of the verso that may be filled byIOL Tib J 463/1, Vf.9v.3-Vf.11v.2.
