1.Author:Incipit: Rf.1r.1yod pa dang 'dra'o//de ltar rnam par rtog pa de dag yongs su bzlog ste rnam par myI rtog par sbyang bar bya'o//Chan treatise
Folios may be missing. In general, this appears to be aChan-style treatise promoting immediate, non-conceptual meditation. It uses the termrnal 'byor chen potwice (Rf.1v.4andRf.2r.4), but in neither case is it clear that this refers to the tantric classification ofMahāyoga. Note that these two references toMahāyogaappear in a quoted passage printed in red ink. This entire passage can be found inIOL Tib J 710/1, 9v.1-10r.3.

AMahāyānatreatise. It seems that something has changed since de la Vallée Poussin made his entry on this work (see704). In particular, his fol. 13 seems to be missing, as there is no discussion of thekalyāṇamitra. Also, his folio 1 discussing theālaya-vijñānais now our folioVf.7r. It is not clear why he recommends comparing this work toIOL Tib J 706; no relationship is immediately obvious. Finally, "vanity" in his translation should be corrected to "emptiness."
