- Scope & Content:
- Petition to Apollonius, chief minister of the finances (dioiketes) from some farmers who had been allocated a plot of land to cultivate. Damis took away part of the land, and compelled three of the farmers to sign a deed of renunciation. Additionally, he prevented them from sowing the land. The farmers are therefore asking to be received by Apollonius. Almost duplicate version of Papyrus 2094, addressed to Zoilus, chief financial official (oikonomos) of the Arsinoite nome.

Papyrus slip, cut from a roll of exceptional height; complete but with severe surface damage in the central portion; written on one side across the fibres, the back being blank. The front bears 11 lines, the last of which is written on the right-hand side. Margins are extant. Horizontal folds are still visible. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.
