Letter to Zenon from Metrodorus, an employee of Apollonius’ estate in Alexandria, concerning a transaction in which Zenon and his brother appear to have been involved. Metrodorus encloses the copy of a letter addressed to Artemidorus regarding the sum of money deposited with him, to be used by Metrodorus’ brother. With docket on the back. The right-hand portion is preserved in a papyrus in Cairo.

- Left-hand portion of a light-brown papyrus sheet, worm-eaten in a zigzag line along the edges; with darker patches on the right-hand side; written on both sides. The front bears the beginnings of 13 lines written across the fibres; a sheet-join runs horizontally at c. 40 mm from the bottom. The back has one line running along the fibres. Another fragment of the same papyrus is now Cairo. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame with a small opening to show the text on the back.
