- Petition to Aurelius Hermias, leading councillor of Hermopolis and strategus, from Aurelius Dios, son of Apollon, complaining that his wife Hermione had abandoned him taking valuable objects and documents with her. Dios asks that the woman be kept in custody until the civil governor (praeses) arrives. With subscription of Dios at the end, written by someone else as he is illiterate.

- Papyrus sheet, complete but severely damaged by insect holes throughout; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. On the front, there are 24 lines, some of which are mutilated. Margins are extant. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Script: Thin, rapid cursive hand, somewhat uneven; different hand for the subscription in the last three lines.
