Conclusion of a lease of land in the form of a ‘wage-receipt’ (misthapoche), the lessor acknowledging advance receipt of the rent. The land is to be sown with flax at a rent of two solidi; the lessor undertakes agricultural works on the land, including sowing and watering it, and transporting the flax to the lessee at his own expenses. With subscriptions of the lessor, Aurelius Pkylis, son of Petrus, of two witnesses and of the notary.

Lower portion of a dark-brown papyrus sheet, somewhat torn in the lower margin too; with some surface damage throughout; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. There remain 16 lines from the foot of a column, with only few traces of the first line; side margins are minimal, and the lower is damaged. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.
