- Theodorus, in charge of engineering works, writes to Athenagoras, perhaps vice-minister of finances, asking for his salary and corn-allowance to be paid to him, so that he may continue to perform his duties with his subordinates, who may otherwise desert him. How the document ended up being among Zenon’s papers is unknown.

- Papyrus sheet, medium-brown in colour, complete but with surface damage and holes at the top; written on one side, the back being blank. The front bears 23 lines running along the fibres; set-offs are visible at the top and bottom. Margins are extant, the right being irregular and minimal. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.
