The File is the fifty-first annual report of the British Indian Association for the year 1896.

Extent and format of original material: 1 booklet of 58 folio 1 leaf.

Physical characteristics: Pages 1 to 115. Both front and back covers are missing. The pages have torn edges and are yellowing and moth-eaten. The spine is damaged. Some sheets are loose. Foxing marks are brown spots are visible. Some pages are torn. The print is faded on a few pages. A sequence of pagination in red has been done by hand on top of each page. There is writing in pen and pencil. Measurements (in cm): 24. 1 x 16 x 0. 6.
