The File is an issue of the newspaper, The Englishman spanning the months of January to March in the year 1914.
Extent and format of original material: One bound volume with 570 folio 1 leaf.
Physical characteristics: Pages are excessively brittle, acidic, torn, yellowed and moth-eaten. Foxing marks, marks from the item's exposure to moisture, various spots (such as ink) and reverse impressions are visible. Some pages have been repeated. Some pages have been cut. Some pages are missing until the issue dated March 28. There is writing in pencil. The spine is loose. Both front and back covers are missing. The item should be handled with care. Dimensions (in cm): 60 x 45 x 8. 5.
