The File is an issue of the newspaper, The Hindoo Patriot spanning the months of January to June in the year 1897.
Extent and format of original material: One bound volume with 270 folio 1 leaf.
Physical characteristics: Pages are acidic, yellowed, brittle, moth-eaten and damaged. The spine is loose. Foxing marks, reverse impressions, marks from the item's exposure to moisture and patches of colour are visible. Print is faded. Some pages are missing. Both front and back covers are missing. Text is lost due to the extent of damage. Some pages are pasted. There is writing in pencil. Dimensions: 65. 5 x 48. 7 x 4 (with cover); 65 x 50 x 3 (without cover).
