- List of payments for the crown-tax for year 6, arranged in two columns. The first column records the totals of the payments made by the same individuals as Papyrus 1938, who were holders or former holders of municipal offices or their relatives. The amounts vary from 12 to over 1000 drachmas. The second column, bearing the same heading, may list landowners who did not hold municipal offices and paid the crown-tax.

- Medium-brown papyrus sheet, complete and well preserved, with few insect-holes and minor abrasion in places; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. The front bears two columns of 27 and 29 lines respectively, all complete. Margins are extant. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.
