- 2, pp. 5-6 (25 x 19 cm.). Letter, dated Patna, 27 March 1758, from W. Watts to Clive. Original. Says that he is informed that the Nawab intends treachery.
- 3, pp. 9-10 (19.5 x 15.5 cm,). Letter, dated Moraudbaug, 3 Aug.1758, from W. Watts to Clive. Original. Says that the Nawab intends to have Rai Durlabh murdered.
- 4, pp. 13-15 (19.5 x 15.5 cm.). Letter, dated Moraudbaug, 7 Aug. 1758, from W. Watts to Clive. Original. Says that Rai Durlabh has secured Omar Beg's interest with the Nawab, and that the Nawab is coming to Calcutta.
- 5, pp. 17-18 (31.5 x 19.5 cm.). Letter, dated Sydabad, 9 August [1758], from W. Watts to Clive. Original. Says that the Nawab has dismissed Rai Durlabh from his service, and that he has sent some sepoys and Europeans to his house to protect him, as his life seems to be in danger.
