- Scope & Content:
- Beginning of a contract between Aurelius Modestus alias Olympus, collector of grain taxes, his colleague Melas, son of Melas, and Nepotianus, son of Theon. Modestus employs the two men for the collection of grain taxes in his own place, having paid them 350 silver drachmas for their salary, cost of paper and other expenses. The two men will be held responsible for the collection of the taxes and the writing of reports. Dated to 222-223, 226-227 or 242-243.

- Papyrus sheet, broken off at the bottom, with insect-holes and surface damage in places; written on one side, the back being blank. The front bears 26 lines, with traces of another line at the bottom; upper and left margins are extant; no space was left free on the right. A sheet-join runs vertically along the left edge. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.
