- Contract drawn up in Ptolemais Euergetis for the sale of a house bought by Pacysis, a minor with Tanephremmis, his paternal grandmother, as a guardian, from his mother Taharpagathes, daughter of Herieus, with her husband Pacysis son of Satabous as a guardian. Taharpagathes had inherited the house, located in Soknopaiou Nesos, from her mother. She acknowledges receipt of the full price, totalling 500 silver drachmas, paid by Pacysis’ grandmother. With subscription of Taharpagathes written by her husband Pacysis and official docket at the end. On the back there are two stamp-impressions in red ink.

- Medium-dark brown papyrus, imperfect on the left, complete at the top, bottom and right; with insect-holes and surface damage in places. The front bears 31 lines running along the fibres; upper and lower margins are extant. No margin was left to the right. The back bears two stamp-impressions in red ink, appearing to be plain disks with no writing. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Dimensions: 229 x 245 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 280 x 300 mm.
Script: Small, thick cursive hand; two different hands from line 25: unpractised and large hand for the subscription, and large, thin cursive hand for the docket in the last line.

Provenance: Arsinoite nome, Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 1873-2016 from Ali Abd el Hari on 15 May 1911.
