- Chaeremon, son of Harmiysis, aged 47, his son Orsenouphis, aged 21, and his wife Tepheros, aged 40, acknowledge receipt of 36 silver drachmas on deposit from Lysimachus, son of Didymus, aged 35. The money is to be repaid whenever Lysimachus wishes; with subscriptions at the end.

- Extent:
- Papyrus sheet, medium-brown, lacking the lower left corner; with few holes and surface damage, especially along the horizontal folds; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. The front bears 34 lines; lines 21-34 lack the beginnings. The upper margin is extant, the left survives up to line 20; the lower margin partly survives; no blank space was left on the right. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Dimensions: 230 x 160 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 295 x 215 mm.
Script: Thin, upright cursive hand, same as in Papyrus 1954 (P.Fam.Tebt. 4); three additional hands for the subscriptions from line 22 to the end.
