- Loan of 9 2/3 artabas of wheat bearing interest, the lessor being Lysimachus, son of Didymus, aged 32, and the lessees Chaeremon and Cronion, sons of Acusilaus, aged 25 and 22 respectively. Chaeremon and Cronion are mutual security and shall return the wheat in the month of Payni; with subscriptions at the end.

- Papyrus sheet, medium-brown, lacking the lower left corner and damaged by insect holes throughout; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. On the front, there are 34 lines; lines 24-34 lack the beginnings. The upper margin is extant, the left and lower partly survive; no margin was left on the right. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Materials: Papyrus.
Dimensions: 230 x 125 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 280 x 180 mm.
Script: Thin, upright cursive hand; same hand as in Papyrus 1968 (=P.Tebt.Fam. 2); two additional hands for the subscriptions from line 25, with the first being the same as the second hand in Papyrus 1968; perhaps fourth hand in the first line, written in the upper margin and reading ‘authentic’.
