- Scope & Content:
- Philosarapis, son of Lysimachus alias Didymus, writes to the keepers of the public archives to register the sale of the implements and other property of the minor Iulius alias Herodes, son of Philantinous alias Herodes, of whom Philosarapis was the guardian. The property had been inherited from the late Philantinous. With date and subscription of Serenus, a keeper of the archives, at the end. The name of Geta was erased from the date.

- Long and narrow papyrus sheet, complete but damaged by holes and lacking strips of fibres down the centre; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. On the front, there is one column of 20 lines, complete; margins are extant, the lower and left being ample. No margin was left to the right. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Dimensions: 215 x 88 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 270 x 140 mm.
Script: Rapid, uneven cursive hand; different hand for the subscription in the last line. Line 18 was erased.

Provenance: Tebtynis, meris of Polemon, Arsinoite nome, Egypt (?). Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 1873-2016 from Ali Abd el Hari on 15 May 1911.
