Verso (TM 20970): Declaration addressed to the strategus of the division of Herakleides in the Arsinoite nome by five citizens of Antinoopolis, Valerius alias Philantinous and Philantinous alias Herodes, sons of Philantinous alias Neilammon, Valerius alias Philantinous son of Sarapammon alias Neilammon, Philosarapis and Heraclides, sons of Lysimachus. The declarants register the renters of their house property, Nilus son of Patron, a weaver, with his wife and daughter, who is registered with her husband in Antinoopolis, Sarapias, aged 57, her daughter Tyrannis alias Isidora, registered with her father Philantinous alias Herodes in Antinoopolis, and two slaves of Sarapias.

- Portion of a papyrus roll, cut out to host the text on the back; riddled with holes; bearing writing on both sides. On the front, there are portions of various columns running along the fibres and damaged in places. On the back there are 23 lines written across the fibres, with all margins extant. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Dimensions: 220 x 235 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 275 x 295 mm.
Script: Recto: Untidy cursive hand. Verso: Upright cursive hand, with lines inclining upwards; the first three lines may be by a different hand, as they are written in a broader style, with thinner strokes and larger spaces.

Provenance: Tebtynis, meris of Polemon, Arsinoite nome, Egypt (?). Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 1873-2016 from Ali Abd el Hari on 15 May 1911.
