- Account of receipts and expenses recorded by Sergius, a tax-official (hypodektes), from Emphyteuton Epoikion near Aphrodito for the fifth indiction; the first column lists names of individuals, followed by amounts of money; the second column records various purposes for which sums were paid out. With Arabic at the beginning and summary on the back.

- Papyrus roll, medium-brown, damaged at the bottom, otherwise well preserved; with writing on both sides. On the front, there are two columns written along the fibres in Greek; the first sheet of the roll, which displays vertical fibres, bears Arabic lines, written along the fibres perpendicularly to the Greek text; another Arabic line runs across the fibres on the second sheet. Sheet-joins are visible. On the back, there is one Greek line written across the fibres at the top. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame with a small opening for the text on the back.

Script: Upright, minuscule hand of medium size in ink turned brown; with Arabic lines written perpendicularly.

Provenance: Aphrodito, Antaiopolite nome, Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 1200-1520 from the Reverend Chauncey Murch (b. 1856, d. 1907) on 20 November 1903.
