Column 1, lines 1-5: Receipt for payment of the dyke tax made by Achilleus for his slave Batrachus. Dated 19 December 157.
Lines 6-10: Receipt for payment of the tax on weavers made by Batrachus, slave of Achilleus. Dated 29 March 158.
Line 11-Column 2, line 1: Receipt for payment of the poll-tax made by Achilleus for his slave Batrachus. Dated 5 June 158.
Column 2, lines 2-7: Receipt for three payments made in June, September and November 158 by Batrachus, slave of Achilleus, on account of the tax on weavers.
Line 8-end: Receipt for payment of the dyke tax made by Achilleus son of Sabourion for his slave Batrachus. Dated 22 December 158.

Two papyrus sheets bearing writing on one side, with the back blank; mounted on cardboard in the same glass frame.
Upper papyrus (A): Medium-brown, imperfect at the bottom left, otherwise well preserved; two columns of 14 and 11 lines respectively running along the fibres. Margins survive, the left being imperfect. A sheet-join runs from top to bottom at about 20 mm from the left edge.
Lower papyrus (B): Medium-dark brown, complete, with minor damage; 4 lines written in the upper half of the sheet across the fibres. Margins are extant, the lower measuring 35 mm. Four vertical folds are still visible.
