Incomplete at the end. The same text as 629.
Begins with the preliminary stanzas of the Mūla-madhyamaka (see Madhyamaka-vṛtti, p. 11).
Next follows:
‘sangs rgyas rnams dang byang cub sems dpa' dag/
/sems can ma lus gnod pa sel mdzad cing/
/bde ba rnam mang sna tshogs sgrub mdzad pa/
/de dag spyod dang bcas la gus phyag 'tshal/ ’‘'Homage to the Buddhas and to the Bodhisattvas who remove the trouble of all beings and promote every kind of happiness; homage to them and to their practice.' ’

Fol. 4b ends the chap. 2 of Minaev's edition, not numbered as a chapter in this recension.

9. Incomplete. Begins as Minaev, with variants. Stanza 3 differs considerably:

/bde ba rgyud myi 'chad 'thob shog/ ’The work has khaṇḍa divisions; the second ends fol. 13a.
