Two certificates for the requisite five-day work (penthemeros) on the dykes in Soknopaiou Nesos.
Left papyrus (P.Lond. III 841(a), TM 11793): Certificate issued to Stotoetis, son of Stotoetis, for the five-day work he performed on the dykes at the canal Epagathiane; with subscription at the end. Dated to May-June 139.
Right papyrus (P.Lond. III 841(b), TM 11794): Certificate issued to Stotoetis, son of Stotoetis, for the five-day work he performed on the dykes at the canal Epagathiane; with signature of Dioscorus. Dated to October-November 160.

Two papyrus sheets, bearing writing on one side, with the back blank; mounted on cardboard in the same glass frame.
Left papyrus (A): Pale-brown, broken off to the right, with surface damage along the vertical folds; 8 lines written along the fibres and lacking the ends; with left, upper and lower margins extant.
Right papyrus (B): Pale brown, broken off to the right; 7 lines running along the fibres and lacking the ends; with left, upper and lower margins extant.

Dimensions: A: 72 x 59 mm; B: 78 x 55 mm. Housed in a glass case measuring 130 x 190 mm.
Script: A: Three rapid and untidy cursive hand. B: Thin and neat hand, with no ligatures and small serifs at the end of uprights; thin and slightly sloping in lines 5-7; thicker cursive hand for the subscription at the end.
