Portion of a petition presumably addressed to the prefect of Egypt from Eudaemonis, daughter of Marcus Ulpius Sarapion alias Serenus, former gymnasiarch of Hermopolis, concerning a dispute over some property. Eudaemonis encloses copies of earlier documentation concerning the dispute, where she had requested that her opponent be notified by the strategus: this includes the memorandum sent by her to Avillius Longus, strategus of the Hermopolite nome (dated 23 April 139), appending the instructions addressed to him from the deputy of the chief judge (archidikastes) (dated 5 April) as well as her request to the chief judge. The columns are numbered at the top. Dated after 1 May 139.

Part of a medium-brown papyrus roll, broken off to the left and lacking part of the top left corner; with a few holes on the left, otherwise well preserved; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. On the front, there are 2 columns, the first of 26 lines, all lacking the beginnings and the second of 14 lines, complete. Upper, lower and right margins are extant. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.
