Two poll-tax receipts acknowledging the payment of 20 drachmas and 10 obols as surcharges, the Arsinoite privileged rate, made by Harpalus, son of Onesimus and Soeris, grandson of Onesimus.
Upper papyrus (A) (P.Lond. III 912(a), TM 22710): Receipt dated 23 July 149. The accounting is for the same month as the payment, Epeiph.
Lower papyrus (B) (P.Lond. III 912(b), TM 22711): Receipt dated 1 August 154.

Two papyrus sheets, bearing writing on one side, the back being blank; mounted on cardboard in the same glass frame.
Upper papyrus (A): Complete; darker along two vertical folds; 6 lines, complete, with all margins extant.
Lower papyrus (B): Complete, with a few insect-holes; 6 lines, with all margins extant; no margin left to the right.

Provenance: Arsinoite nome (?), Egypt. Both purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 885-1178 from the Reverend Chauncey Murch (b. 1856, d. 1907) on 8 June 1901.
