Aurelius Herminus alias Morus and his brother Theognostus alias Morus write to the keepers of the public archives of Hermopolis to register two-thirds of a house with courtyard and all appurtenances located in Hermopolis and inherited from their paternal uncle Herminus, deceased twenty years earlier. At the bottom, one of the keepers notes that no such property is recorded under their uncle’s name. A series of crosses concludes the document.

Papyrus sheet, complete and well preserved, with only a very few holes; bearing writing on one side, the back being blank; on the front, there are 24 lines running along the fibres; all margins are extant; the right margin is minimal. A sheet-join runs at c. 25-30 mm from the right-hand edge. Folding lines are still visible. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.
