Instrument of Conveyances and Leases registered at Accra Volume IV including memorandum of agrrements.
Extent: volume IV containing 453 numbered pages excluding plan and oaths of grants and witnesses.
Condition of original material: Worn stitching; warping; loose fragment; most of the pages broken due to mishandling; sellotape repair; etc.
Custodial history: The Governor of the Gold Coast colony enacted an ordinance for the registration of instruments dated 24th March, 1883 and cited as Registration Ordinance number 8 of 1883. Registry Office was established in Victoriaborg - Accra and Cape Coast to execute instruments for registration by the Registrar, which instruments include Wills, Letters of Administration and Grants affecting Lands registration, etc.
