Letter to Zenon from Demetrius, informing him that Zenon’s father and Acrisius had reached home safely. They had left behind mattresses and pillows because of some difficulties with customs clearance, but Cimon will send them as soon as the weather allows. In addition, Demetrius advises Zenon that he did not received the payment that Zenon had ordered to collect from Sostratus. With date (2 January 252 BC), address and summary on the back.

Papyrus sheet, light-brown, complete, with minor surface damage along the folds; written on both sides. On the front, there are 19 lines running across the fibres, complete; all margins are extant. On the back, there are 4 lines written along the fibres. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame, with a small opening for the text on the back.

Dimensions: 160 x 257 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 215 x 300 mm.
Script: Medium-sized, upright and thin hand, somewhat irregular and clumsy, with a tendency to become smaller. Smaller and more cursive hand on the back.
