With original clay seal (TM Seal 974), possibly with no device, and docket and address on the back.

Papyrus sheet, light-brown, complete at the top and bottom, and damaged on the other sides, especially on the right (front); bearing writing on both sides. On the front, there are 5 lines written across the fibres, complete. Upper and lower margins are extant. The original clay seal is still attached on the right-hand side. On the back, there are a few words written along the fibres at the bottom. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Script: Fine chancery hand, thin and upright, with a tendency to become more cursive towards the end; words are well-spaced.

Provenance: Philadelpheia, meris of Herakleides, Arsinoite nome, Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 2078-2102 from Maurice Nahman (b. 1868, d. 1948) in April 1919.
