The appeal relates to leases of land in the village of Hanumantunigudem in the zemindari of Nuzid. The land in the village was leased prior to the partition of the zemindari and the original case debated the ongoing validity of the leases, deciding in favour of the Appellant. The case was then reversed by the High Court, before being brought to the Privy Council. The appeal was dismissed.
