External cover title and title of the first text: 茭簡 破獄 讚才樓科 [jiaojian poyu zancailou ke].
Compilation of three texts: Jiao jian, Po yu, Zan cai lou. Jiao jian: Instructions to send the messenger dragon to the Purgatory to wake up the dead and let them know that the secondary death ritual is taking place; Po yu: The instructions to break the Gates of the Purgatory. Send the five Armies and Keau Hu Man to attack the Underworld and collect the dead. The priest destroys a gourd or a cup outside of the house under the banner of the Jade Emperor. Zan cai lou: Instructions to build and open the eyes of the house of the Ancestors for the secondary death ritual. This spirit-house is brought out of the village and burnt to the ashes so it can be settled in the land of the ancestors in the spirit side. It contains instructions so this house has everything in the three levels.
