Instructions to perform exorcistic-healing ceremonies (Ai Kia Man). The hon/soul of the patient was captured by a non-social Deity such as Deities of the River, Lord of Thunder, Deities of the Big Trees, the ‘wild army’ of the Jade Emperor, Deities of the Hunters (bo man). The text contains instructions about the payments and rituals procedures required to recover the hon and to restore the spiritual integrity – and hence health – of the patient.
