Title of the first text: 南相白文 茭簡科 破獄科 竪旛 促人 讃材樓 斎醮 共一本黃文廣號 [Nanxiangbaiwen jiaojianke poyuke shufan curen zancailou zhaijiao gongyiben huangwenguanghao].
Instructions for sending the messenger dragon to the Purgatory to wake up the deceased and to let them know that the secondary death ritual is taking place. Poyu: instructions to break the Gates of Purgatory. Send the Five Armies and Keau Hu Man to attack the Underworld and collect the dead. . Preparations for the banner outside the house. Secondary death ritual. This represents the hand of the Jade Emperor who is helping to collect the dead from the Purgatory. The information to be written in the banner comes in the magic book. Instructions to teach the butler who will take care of the new Ancestors. This book contains the rules to follow: Moral rules, working rules, etc. A small puppet is constructed to represent the butler.Instructions to build and open the eyes of the house of the Ancestors for the secondary death ritual. This spirit-house is brought out of the village and burnt to the ashes so it can be settled in the land of the ancestors in the spirit side. It contains instructions so this house has everything in the three levels. They say what the new ancestors are getting as gifts and ritual payments. These gifts include the horse for the ancestors so they can freely travel the skies. Magic to make the altars into gold-silver-cash, house, rice field, garden, fruit trees, livestock, and food.
