Portion of a medium-brown papyrus roll with two detached scraps, additional fragments of which are now at Columbia University, New York, inventoried as P. 5, and at the Istituto Papirologico ‘G. Vitelli’, Florence, under the inventory 3038. The writing is on both sides. On the front, there are two columns written along the fibres, broken off at the top; lower and right margins are extant; one line is written in the right margin, being the endorsement of the text on the back. Two sheet-joins are visible. The Columbia portion preserves another column which precedes those of the BL papyrus and the beginnings of lines 16-25 of the first column of the BL portion. The portion in Florence is still unpublished. On the back, there are several columns in Demotic, written against the fibres upside down in relation to the text on the front. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.
