- Two fragments from a medium-brown papyrus lacking the central portion; with some damage, especially along the folds; bearing writing on both sides. On the front, there are portions of 7 lines running along the fibres and lacking the middle portion; upper, left and lower margins are wide; on the back, there is the beginning of a word running along the fibres in the centre of the sheet. The original clay seal still survives. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Provenance: Philadelpheia, meris of Herakleides, Arsinoite nome, Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 2741-2783 from Dr A. N. Kondilios in December 1926. Part of a joint purchase with the University of Michigan and Columbia University.
