- Title:
- Wat Saladaeng Neua Medical Text
- Scope & Content:
-
Accordian-style folding book (parabaik) medical text. Identification uncertain - was made in part based on what collection guardians told me. Includes several lists, including of local temple names, many lists of names of what may be donors (since they appear to be married couples) and what appear to be diagrams and lists, although many are severely faded. The names and lists may be of primary interest. Appears to have been written by several different hands.
Extent: 1 accordian-style book, approximately 50 faces, front and back.
Condition of original material: Chalk on black paper. Some pages are severely faded, others extremely clear. Some faces appear to have never been written on.
Custodial history: Handwriting is Thai Mon, so manuscript is of local provenance.
No colophon.
