- Fragment from mummy cartonnage of a loan of 160 silver drachmas, given by Sostratus to a man whose name is damaged. Penalty applies should the borrower fail to pay the loan back within the agreed time.

- Extent:
- Fragment of a medium-brown papyrus sheet reused as mummy cartonnage, broken off on the left and at the bottom. On the front, there are the ends of 14 lines written along the fibres; on the back, there are traces of lines which may be offsets from another papyrus which was part of the same cartonnage and plaster residues. The modern annotation in red refers to the publication in P.Hib. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Materials: Papyrus.
Dimensions: 100 x 49 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 205 x 180 mm.
Script: Thin, neat and upright hand, with no ligatures; some letterforms are smaller and occupy only the upper part of the writing line; a few stems descend below the line; the foot of some uprights slightly turn to the right; omega is in two shapes (see line 2).

Provenance: Ankyropolis (El-Hiba), Egypt. Resued as mummy cartonnage (Mummy A17). Presented with a lot comprising Papyri 2943-3035 by the Committee of the Egypt Exploration Society on 9 April 1960.
