- Scope & Content:
- Letter of a mother to her son Copres, blaming his wife for inflaming his already hot temper. She has not been able to find any money to give him, but she has not been keeping anything back from him and she fully trusts him. The postscript adds that nobody can love him as his wife is shaping him to her own advantage. The tone and vocabulary are personal and vivid.

- One medium-brown papyrus sheet, broken off at the bottom, damaged along the right-hand edge and with some holes throughout; written on one side; the back is blank. On the front, there are 21 lines written along the fibres, the last being very fragmentary; 2 lines were added in the left margin, running across the fibres from top to bottom. Upper, left and part of the right margin survive. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Dimensions: 160 x 52 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 210 x 105 mm.
Script: Competent and fluent hand, slightly slanting to the right, with more careful and larger letterforms at the beginning and ligatured in places; probably not the hand of the sender.
