Euchologion is a liturgical book with texts intended for priest's divine services of daily circle of liturgical service. This manuscript is a fragment of monastic Euchologium of the 15th century. The beginning and the end of the manuscript are lost. The book belonged to a peasant Andrew Malodushev in the 19th century (see the note on f. 77). There is a receipt put in the manuscript about getting back taxes from Jakob Roskin by collector of taxes V. Kobelev in 1887. The manuscript contains vespers without beginning (ff. 1r-9v); midnight service with a canon of Mitrophan (ff. 9v-17r); matins (ff. 17r-24v); hours (ff. 24v-34v); prayers before and after liturgy (ff. 34v-39v); vespers with a canon to Virgin (ff. 39v-66r); prayers after temptation during sleep (ff. 66r-69v); Sunday troparions and kontakions for 8 echos and for the whole week (ff. 69v-78r); photagogikas or Odes of light for the whole week (ff. 78v-79v). There are a lot of mentions of abbot and monks in ektenes and in other parts of services.
Служебник является богослужебной книгой, в которой находятся совершаемые священником службы суточного круга богослужения. Данная рукопись представляет собой фрагмент монастырского cлужебника XV в. Начало и конец утрачены. В XIX в. рукопись принадлежала крестьянину Андрею Малодушеву (запись на л. 77). В рукопись вложена расписка о получении недоимок в 1887 г. сборщиком податей В. Кобелевым от Якова Роскина. Рукопись включает вечерню, без начала (л. 1-9 об.); полунощницу с каноном Митрофана, глас 1 (л. 9 об.-17); утреню (л. 17-24 об.); часы (л. 24 об.-34 об.); обедню (л. 34 об.-39 об.); вечерню и повечерницу с каноном молебным Богородице, глас 1 (л. 39 об.-66); последование об искушении во сне (л. 66-69 об.); тропари и кондаки воскресные на 8 гласов и на всю неделю (л. 69 об.-78); светильны на всю седмицу (л. 78 об.-79 об.). В ектениях и в последовании служб постоянно упоминается игумен и монастырская братия.
Extent: 1 volume containing 79 folios and 2 additional pieces of paper put in the volume.
Size and dimensions of original material: Height 19,5 cm, width 13,5 cm, depth 2 cm.
Condition of original material: The beginning and the end of the manuscript is lost. There were lost folios after f. 15. The edges of folios were torn but restored during restoration. The bindig was lost. Now the book has restoration binding made of cardboard and leather-cloth. Two additional pieces of paper have text written by pencil; now it is fading (ff. Iv and IIr-IIv).
Custodial history: In the second part of 19th century the manuscipt belonged to peasant Andrew Malodushev. In 1887 it was connected with Jakov Roskin or collector of taxes V. Kobelev. The manuscript was collected during the archeographical expedition to the Kargopol region in 1965.
