Evangelije aprakos

Aprakos is a liturgical book with Gospel readings disposed according to the church circle of service, beginning from the Easter. It is impossible to service without Aprakos. This manuscript was written in the second half of the 16th century and was used in 1750th for studying reading and writing (see note on f. 2). The discovery of relics of Novgorod bishop Nikita is mentioned in the manuscript. It has occured in 1558; therefore the codex was written later.
Евангелие апракос является богослужебной книгой, в которой евангельские чтения расположены по дням церковного календаря. Без Евангелия апракос совершение богослужения невозможно. Данная рукопись была написана во второй половине 16-го века. В 1750-х годах книга использовалась для обучения чтению и письму (см. запись на л. 2). В рукописи упоминается обретение мощей еп. Новгородского Никиты (1558); следовательно, Евангелие было переписано позже этого времени.
Extent: 1 volume containing 232 folios and 1 put in fragment.
Size and dimensions of original material: Height 25,5 cm, width 17,5 cm, depth 7 cm.
Condition of original material: The manuscript was restored. The binding was pasted up by leather-cloth. The folios are glued with restoration paper.
Custodial history: The manuscript was collected during the archeographical expedition to the Old believers to Ploes region in 1966.
