Scope & Content:

A fragment of Breviary includes burial service without the beginning and the end. There are several texts: a fragment of psalm 50 (without beginning), a canon over deceased, echos 8, and final prayers of a priest. The manuscript was written in the second half of the 18th century. A part of the text is lost as the folio with the end of the Ode 4 and the whole Ode 5 placed earlier after f. 4 is absent now. Two folios from another manuscript were sewn in the middle of this one. They keep 4 and 5 Odes of canon, which are lost in the original manuscript. The manuscript was brought from Plesetsky region of Arkhangelsk district.

Фрагмент Требника включает чин отпевания без начала и конца. Сохранился 50-й псалом без начала, канон об усопшем, глас 8, и отпустные молитвы. Рукопись была написана во второй половине 18 века. Часть текста утрачена: после л. 4 потерян лист с окончанием песни 4 и песнью 5. Вместо потерянного листа в середину рукописи вшиты два листа из другой рукописи, более поздней, содержащие утраченные фрагменты канона. Рукопись привезена из Плесецкого района.

Extent: 13 folios sewn together.

Size and dimensions of original material: Height 18 cm, width 11 cm.

Condition of original material: The manuscript has not binding. The beginning and the end of the manuscript are lost. Two folios (f. 5-6) from another manuscript were sewn in the original material.

Custodial history: The manuscript was collected during the archeographical expedition to the Old believers to Ploes region in 1966.
