Scope & Content:

This service miscellanea of the second half of the 18th century includes kathismas (the beginnings of psalms) which are read on every day of a week (f. 1-12). There are also a confession for a monk for every day (f. 16-19) and other prayers in the manuscript. One of the prayers kept the name of the scribe of the manuscript; it was nun Elena (f. 20). A special folio was put in the manuscript (f. I) with the name of printed book which was the original for this manuscript: " This little book is named service of 12 psalms and about home prayer and about cell rule. Printed in the typography of christians of Solovki and Old Pomor heir". The manuscript was brought from Ploes region.

Богослужебный сборник второй половины XVIII в. включает кафизмы (начала псалмов), читаемые во все дни недели (л. 1-12); исповедание иноческое повседневное (л. 16-19) и иные молитвы. В одной из молитв упоминается имя создательницы рукописи - инокини Елены (л. 20). В рукопись вложен отдельный л. I, на котором указано название печатного издания, с которого была переписана данная рукопись: "Сия книжица, нарицаемая чин дванадесяти псалмов, и о молитве домашней и келейном правиле. Напечатася в типографии християн Соловецкаго и старопоморскаго потомства". Рукопись привезена из Плесецкого района.

Extent: 1 volume containing 23 folios and 1 additional sheet.

Size and dimensions of original material: Height 16,5 cm, width 11,5 cm.

Condition of original material: Folios are dirty, some of them have ruptures.

Custodial history: The manuscript was collected during the archeographical expedition to the Old believers to Ploes region in 1966.
