Scope & Content:

The manuscript includes a number of didactic sermons which are known by Prologue and miscelanea. These texts had some date in this manuscript but now it is unknown as the beginning of the manuscript is lost. The same texts are known with other books both calendar (under different dates) and uncalendar. There are sermon about love without beginning; "Sermon about reading books just as the most useful to read a Psalterion"; "Word as it is good to visit sicks"; "Story of Saint Nil"; " Word about sinners do not want to confess"; "Word about repentance"; "Word about a presbuterion who saw demons near the cell of a lazy monk"; "Sermon as children should respect their parents"; "Sermon of Saint Basil about envy"; "Sermon from Law about unkeeping tongue"; "Word of Saint Nil"; and "Word of Saint Basil about death" without the end. The manuscript was brought from the Ploes region of Arkhangelsk district.

Рукопись включает набор назидательных слов и поучений, входивших в Пролог и сборники для чтения. В данной рукописи тексты также были приурочены к определенной дате, но она не сохранилась; в других книгах эти тексты входят как в календарные (на разные даты), так и в некалендарные сборники. В рукописи сохранилось слово о любви (без начала), "Слово о почитании книжном, яко полезнее всех книг Псалтырь почитати", "Слово яко добро посещати болящих", "Повесть святого Нила", "Слово о согрешающих и не хотящих каятися", "Слово о покаянии", "Слово о некоем презвитере духовнем, иже видев бесы у келии лениваго мниха", "Поучение како подобает детем чтити родителя своя", "Поучение святого Василия о зависти", "Поучение от Закона о несохранении языка", "Слово святого Нила", "Слово святого Василия о смерти" без конца. Рукопись привезена из Плесецкого района.

Extent: 6 folios sewn together.

Size and dimensions of original material: Height 17 cm, width 11 cm.

Condition of original material: The manuscript has not binding. The beginning and the end of the manuscript are lost.

Custodial history: The manuscript was collected during the archeographical expedition to the Old believers to Ploes region in 1966.
