The manuscript includes a text of the decision of an old believers-stranniks elders council on gender problems: a possibility of co-living, community and contacts with women. The problem is connected with an absence of priests among stranniks and therefore an absence of a legitimate marriage. The manuscript was brought from the village Zalisie, Kargopol region, Arkhangelsk district.
Рукопись содержит текст постановления собора старцев старообрядцев-странников о взаимоотношениях между мужчинами и женщинами: о возможности совместного проживания и общения. Проблема связана с отсутствием в данном старообрядческом согласии священства и, соответственно, законного венчанного брака. Рукопись происходит из деревни Залесье Каргопольского района.
Extent: A manuscript consists of 4 folios without cover.
Size and dimensions of original material: Height 20,6 cm, width 17,6 cm; depth 0,1.
Condition of original material: There are spots on the binding and tearings in center of the folios.
Custodial history: The manuscript was collected during the archeographical expedition to the Kargopol region in 1968.
