A (P.Lond. VII 1978, TM 1541): Fragmentary account of expenses on allotments from Dracon, one of Zenon’s agents, to Zenon. Papyrus 2392(A) preserves the right-hand side of the account and the full endorsement on the back. Dated 26 December 253 BC.
B: Joint to Papyrus 2315.
C (P.Lond. VII 2180, TM 2402): Fragment of a list from the archive of Zenon, concerned with dyed clothing. There are some obliterated traces of writing on the back. The papyrus belongs to Papyrus 2383(B).

Two fragments, originally three, that do not belong together, housed in the same glass frame.
A: Medium-brown, broken off at bottom and right, joining Papyrus 2392(A) on the right; with portions of two columns on the front, running along the fibres; of the first, 5 lines survive, the last being fragmentary; of the second, the beginnings of 2 lines remain, which continue in Papyrus 2392. On the back, there is one washed out line.
B: The fragment has been removed and joint to Papyrus 2315.
C: Fragment of a light-brown papyrus sheet, another portion of which is Papyrus 2383(B); with surface damage; with writing on both sides. On the front, there are the beginnings of 6 lines 12 written across the fibres; only a few traces survive of the first 2 lines. The left margin is extant. On the back, there are some traces of writing, apparently washed out.

Dimensions: A: 63 x 109 mm; C: 55 x 50 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 180 x 160 mm.
Script: A: Neat, medium-sized upright uncial hand; C: Small uncial hand, with a tendency to become more cursive.

Origin: Arsinoite nome (?), Egypt.
Provenance: Philadelpheia, meris of Herakleides, Arsinoite nome, Egypt. The papyri were purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 2305-2434 from Dr A. N. Kondilios in July 1921.
