The volume contains cases heard by the Acting Police Magistrate or the Judge of the Court in the Court of Requests for Freetown between 4 April 1891 and 9 April 1892. It includes an index that lists the cases in alphabetical order by the name of the plaintiff, and provides the names of the defendant and the page number in the volume. The document provides information on whether the individuals involved appeared, their statement, the amount of the debt and the outcome of the case. For some cases, information is added on how much of the debt has been paid. The cover and the spine are damaged, and the ink is fading on some pages.
