Upper papyrus (A) (P.Lond. VII 1934, TM 2374): Letter of Apollonius (finance minister, dioiketes) to Zenon, enclosing the copy of the letter received from Dionysius, financial official (oikonomos), concerning three talents paid on account of Apollonius’s allowance; the address is on the back. Dated between 22 September and 21 October 258 BC.
Lower papyrus (B) (P.Lond. VII 2064, Pap.Lugd.Bat. XX 46, TM 1877): Letter to Zenon concerned with cattle and wages, dated 7 December 252 BC. The address is on the back, the name of the sender is lost. P.Strasb. IV 228 is another fragment of this letter.

Two papyrus fragments that do not belong together, housed in the same glass frame.
Upper papyrus (A): Light-brown papyrus fragment, broken off on the sides, complete at the top and bottom; with writing on both sides; on the front, there are the central portions of 11 lines written across the fibres; upper and lower margins survive; folding lines are still visible. On the back, there is one word written along the fibres at the bottom, the other way up in relation to the text on the front.
Lower papyrus (B): Right-hand portion of a light-brown papyrus sheet, the left hand portion of which is now in Strasbourg, Bibliothèque Nationale, inventoried as P. gr. 354 and published as P.Strasb. IV 228; with writing on one side, the back being blank. On the front, there are the ends of 4 lines running across the fibres, with upper, lower and right margins.
